Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced RCM Team Leader to join our team in Visakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the RCM team, ensuring that all revenue cycle processes are conducted accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of RCM specialists, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle process, including billing, coding, accounts receivable, and denial management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any issues, concerns, or inquiries related to revenue cycle processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all processes comply with relevant regulations and standards, including HIPAA, ICD-10, and payer-specific guidelines.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, revenue trends, and process improvements to senior management.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges in the revenue cycle process, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for process optimization and automation, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.



 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in RCM software, electronic health records (EHR), and medical billing systems.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare billing for laboratories and/or physicians, coding, and reimbursement processes, including knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. Strong knowledge with payer guidelines; CMS, Workers Compensation and Commercial Insurance.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
