Team Leader - Data Management

What you’ll do:

" The Team Leader implements the product data life cycle maintenance for Central and division’s products in the ERP and PIM systems. In this role the data steward will receive instructions from the Master Data Manager GEIS EMEAI (located in Europe) and from the Manager – Data Management (located in Pondicherry). Additionally will lead the local PIM and ERP Data Stewards in GEIS team with direct reports.

The Team Leader for Data Management will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the Product Data, Customer Data, Power BI, and Bidman teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data governance standards. In this role, they will drive operational excellence by managing service level agreements (SLAs), monitoring performance, and ensuring timely and high-quality data delivery across all domains. The Team Leader will also play a key role in fostering team development by organizing and coordinating training initiatives, promoting best practices, and supporting continuous skill enhancement. Acting as a central point of coordination, they will ensure effective communication and collaboration between teams, streamline processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of data operations within the organization.

The Team Leader will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of Eaton’s Product master data and thereby support the implementation of the balanced scorecard for the divisions of Eaton’s Electrical Sector EMEA.

• Create Product data scorecard & Dashboards for ES-EMEA by using Power BI application.
• Support Projects & On demand analysis based on business requirement.
• Provide Impact analysis of any changes in the system or process.
• Use data quality tools to analyze the data for quality or harmonization purposes
• Support UAT/CRP testing for any new system implementation / SAP migration projects or SAP enhancement projects.
• Identify the gap and work with other division colleague to close the gap and Increase the Data Quality Percentage.
• Support on demand root cause analysis & Provide solution.
• Understand the interface logic and data flow between the system.
• Run detailed master data reports and support the product data analytics specialist in generating the metrics.
• Create and update the documents like work instruction, Process flow chart or swim line diagrams.
• Create and Enhance the Power BI reports based on requirements.
• Support & Co-ordinate with Lead data steward for any new process implementation or Data enrichment in ERP system due to the regional policy announcements.
• Co-ordinate with Technical team and implement the changes in ERP & PIM systems as per the LDS/business requirement.
• Responsible to monitor the interface between system, and maintain the new values in respective mapping tables as per the procedure.
  

• Migrate items to different ERP systems to enable sales synergy across systems
• Improve the data life cycle processes with the support of the central MDM team
• Send updates to local organizations with non-integrated stand-alone ERP systems
• Govern interface reports from master data interfaces
• Provide guidance / solution to division on master data related issues

Qualifications:

BE/B.Tech Electrical /Mechanical or Engineering Degree
6 - 9 years - Proven and solid experience working in the following ERP system : SAP and PDH; Data Analytics tools: MS Power BI and Cloudera

• Build Visulaization in Power BI
