Job Requirements

Defining the overall data strategy, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and aligning data needs with business objectives.

Overseeing the data warehouse and data lake infrastructure, including data modeling, data cleansing, and data integration.

Leading a team of data analysts, data engineers, and BI developers, assigning tasks, and mentoring team members.

Developing dashboards and reports to present insights to stakeholders using BI tools like Power BI & Tableau.

Exploring advanced analytics techniques like machine learning and predictive modeling to uncover deeper insights.

Collaborating with different departments to understand their data needs and translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations.

Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulations.

Skills and qualifications for a BI and analytics lead:

Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data visualization tools.

Good command on using ETL tools and data management process.

Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for advanced analytics

Understanding of key business drivers and ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.

Possess strong expertise and real-world experience in architecting and implementing enterprise scale data engineering, self-service analytics, AI and GenAI applications

• Have extensive hands-on experience in leading and driving large-scale data modernization projects in supply chain industries and use cases, with a track record of high-quality, on-time and on-budget delivery
• Strong understanding of data and analytics fundamentals across various platforms and technology stacks

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and deliver results under tight deadlines

Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Advanced degree in statistics and analytics or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale enterprise data or big data implementations,
• Strong project management skills within an enterprise context.
• Must have worked in a digital transformation environment and be able to get quick turn around on required visualizations quickly.
• Experience managing teams and effectively prioritizing projects
• Strong project management skills within an enterprise context.
• In-depth understanding of different Enterprise system, business process reengineering, and data integration best practices.
• Excellent ability to present complex data insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
