The Opportunity
Avantor is seeking a B2B Technical Coordinator for Supplier Integrations. The prospect will oversee Supplier Integration projects, ensure adherence to Avantor's external integration standards, analyze and optimize business processes and technologies, and enhance the supply chain life cycle.
This position requires a solid understanding of operations and proven ability to work with multiple levels of the Avantor and supplier organizations to effectively support supply-chain processes. It is critical for this individual to understand business processes and to have a technical mindset, understanding B2B integration technologies. Integrated processes may include EDI Orders, Acknowledgements, Invoices, Advanced Ship Notices, exchanged with Avantor suppliers, as well as Virtual Inventory integrations and WebForm-EDI setups for non-technical suppliers.

Avantor is seeking a B2B Technical Coordinator for Supplier Integrations. The prospect will oversee Supplier Integration projects, ensure adherence to Avantor's external integration standards, analyze and optimize business processes and technologies, and enhance the supply chain life cycle.
This position requires a solid understanding of operations and proven ability to work with multiple levels of the Avantor and supplier organizations to effectively support supply-chain processes. It is critical for this individual to understand business processes and to have a technical mindset, understanding B2B integration technologies. Integrated processes may include EDI Orders, Acknowledgements, Invoices, Advanced Ship Notices, exchanged with Avantor suppliers, as well as Virtual Inventory integrations and WebForm-EDI setups for non-technical suppliers.
Major Responsibilities
- Corporate liaison: Act as the primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding Supplier Integrations.
- Implementation: Lead and manage straightforward supplier integration initiatives.
- Business analysis: Evaluate processes against business requirements and propose actionable enhancements.
- Delegation: Allocate tasks and oversee their execution within project timelines.
- Execution: Deliver high-quality projects by the established deadlines.
- Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders through effective interaction.
- Support: Liaise with team leaders and technicians to address and resolve support matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: College degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1-3+ years of applicable experience.
- Analytical: Possess the expertise to manage multifaceted projects and dissect complex issues, formulating effective solutions.
- Detail-oriented: Demonstrate meticulous attention to project plans, ensuring all customer requirements are met with precision.
- Technical aptitude: Exhibit familiarity with various B2B formats (EDI ANSI-X12, cXML, XML, SAP-IDOC, API webservices), eCommerce solutions, and middleware platforms.
- Project Management: Capably oversee both technical and non-technical aspects of projects, ensuring seamless execution.
- Team Player: Show enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit in all project facets, maintaining approachability and a positive attitude.
- Communication Skills: Communicate objectives, business, and technical requirements clearly. Strong documentation skills are essential.
- Self-Motivated: Thrive independently, escalating issues appropriately without the need for daily supervision.
