Sr. Technical Program Manager, Device Content and Advertising
ADCI MAA 15 SEZ
DESCRIPTION
Fire TV is the world's most popular streaming media player, and Amazon's free, ad‑supported streaming business is scaling rapidly across creators, content providers, and international markets. Amazon Creator Studio is our first‑party, platform that transforms content acquisition from a manual, high‑touch process into global self‑service — targeting the creator economy projected to reach $144B by 2027.
We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to own the program charter for the Partner Experience team in Chennai. Today the ecosystem spans across providers in multiple countries and proliferating across new regions. Your mission is to drive the transition to a scalable, API‑driven, self‑service platform — collapsing partner onboarding faster, building partner‑facing analytics, support, and content‑management tooling, and extending the platform internationally — all without disrupting live partner operations.
This is a deeply technical, cross‑organizational role. You will operate at the intersection of partner tooling, content ingestion, onboarding automation, international expansion, and content distribution to first‑party Amazon services (Prime Video, Amazon Music). You will work daily with India‑based engineering and US‑based product, business development, and distribution‑partner teams.
Key job responsibilities
Own the Partner Experience program roadmap across the four core building blocks: Partner Onboarding, Partner Escalation & Support, Analytics & Reporting, and Internal Tools & Scaling.
Drive onboarding velocity. Lead the program to make self‑serve creator onboarding seamless.
Own international expansion readiness. Drive internationalization of Creator Studio Portal, backend systems, support, and analytics across UK, DE, CA, then JP and BR etc — defining per‑market requirements and a reusable launch playbook.
Land the self‑service partner platform. Coordinate delivery of self‑serve content management, preview, pre‑publication moderation, accounting automation and partner‑facing analytics & reporting (engagement, hours watched, views, revenue, invoices) on the Creator Studio Portal.
Modernize partner support. Drive the transition from email‑based (MLP) support to a scalable ticket‑based system, hold the Issue Response SLA to a
Scale internal tooling. Drive enhancements (self‑serve metadata/logo updates, BD workflows, onboarding dashboards) and lead the convergence to eliminate duplicate internal tooling.
Enable content distribution to 1P partners. Partner with engineering on distributing Creator Studio content — including emerging formats such as video podcasts — to Prime Video and Amazon Music, driving cross‑team integration contracts (e.g., mRSS/feed‑based ingestion) to resolution.
Steward ownership and operational health of the ~15 services migrating to and run by the Chennai team, ensuring no regression to partner experience.
Drive operational excellence, including infrastructure cost reduction (cost per MM requests) and service scalability (e.g., search/payload limits as channel volume grows).
A day in the life
You own how partners and creators experience Amazon's free streaming platform end to end. A typical day spans reviewing onboarding‑automation progress with engineering, unblocking an international launch requirement, triaging a partner escalation against SLA, aligning with Business Development on self‑serve tooling priorities, and driving a cross‑team integration decision with Prime Video or Amazon Music. You are the person who makes sure the partner platform scales as fast as the business — turning ambiguous, multi‑team problems into sequenced, measurable programs.
About the team
The Partner Experience team in Chennai owns the platform that lets content creators and providers onboard, manage content, get support, and understand their performance on Fire TV Free Streaming. We own the Creator Studio Website Portal and CoreBFF, Channel Onboarding Service, partner agreements, Internal tools for stakeholders, Automatic Partner Escalation, partner reporting, and the Indominus cost‑optimization services. We are a lean, high‑leverage team that values data over debate and experimentation over opinion, working in close partnership with US product, BD, and distribution teams.
