Specialist- PCB Tool Specialist(Siemens Xpedition)

About the team:

We are looking for an experienced Siemens Xpedition Tool Specialist to own, develop and improve our PCB design environment. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in the Siemens Xpedition ecosystem who is passionate about process improvement, automation and engineering efficiency.

You will work closely with PCB designers, hardware engineers, manufacturing teams and IT to optimise design flows, introduce automation, improve design quality and reduce manual effort throughout the schematic and PCB development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable engineering solutions that improve productivity across multiple projects and can be shared across teams and external partners.

What you can look forward as Specialist- PCB Tool Specialist(Siemens Xpedition):

• Experience with PCB CAD/EDA tools such as Siemens Xpedition or equivalent platforms
• Good understanding of PCB design methodologies, design flows, manufacturing requirements, and PCB design release processes.
• Integrate PCB tools with Windchill PLM to improve design release and data management.
• Work closely with PCB designers and hardware engineers to improve engineering processes.
• Develop scripts, utilities and automated workflows to improve engineering efficiency.

Your profile as Specialist- PCB Tool Specialist(Siemens Xpedition):

• 5-8 Yrs of experience with Siemens Xpedition PCB Design Suite.
• Experience with Valour NPI, Siemens EDM, HyperLynx SI/PI and HyperLynx DRC.
• Experience integrating PCB design tools with Windchill or other PLM/PDM systems.
• Experience within automotive, aerospace, industrial, semiconductor, or high-reliability electronics environments.
• Relevant training or certifications in PCB design, EDA tools, engineering automation or design methodologies.
