Position Summary

Level: Senior Consultant

The Cyber Defense & Resilience Solution Architect will join the Global Cyber Solution Hub and support Deloitte member firm teams on strategic and complex Cyber opportunities. The role will help pursuit teams turn business and technical requirements into practical Cyber Defense & Resilience solutions. It will bring relevant leading practice methods, assets, alliance relationships, and delivery experience into the pursuit process.

This is an internal advisory role. The Solution Architect will work with pursuit teams, Cyber Defense & Resilience leaders, specialists, and delivery teams across the Deloitte network. The primary focus will be shaping differentiated solutions across areas such as security operations, managed detection and response, threat detection engineering, cyber incident response, technology resilience, attack surface management, and cyber recovery. This aligns with Deloitte's Cyber Defense & Resilience offering that helps clients detect, respond to, recover from, and build resilience against cyber threats.

Work you'll do

Solution shaping and technical win strategy

• Shape Cyber Defense & Resilience solutions for strategic and complex pursuits, including the operating model, delivery approach, service architecture, and technical win themes
• Work with pursuit teams to understand the opportunity and define the role Cyber Defense & Resilience should play in the overall solution
• Use Deloitte methods, assets, and tools to structure a differentiated solution
• Develop the scope, key assumptions, effort estimate, transition approach, and staffing model
• Collaborate with pricing specialists so the commercial model reflects the solution and delivery approach
• Review solution designs for feasibility, differentiation, and fit with the client need
• Support Deloitte firm teams as they prepare for solution workshops, proposals, demonstrations, and oral presentations
• Help teams articulate outcomes related to threat detection, response effectiveness, operational resilience, incident readiness, and business continuity
  
  

Cyber Defense & Resilience domain leadership

• Bring experience across security operations, attack surface management, threat intelligence, managed detection and response, incident response, cyber recovery, and resilience capabilities
• Support development of operating models for SOC modernization, MXDR, and managed security services
• Help pursuit teams evaluate technology ecosystems and alliance opportunities that strengthen the defense and resilience proposition
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI, automation, orchestration, and advanced analytics into Cyber Defense & Resilience solutions
• Review proposed service levels, performance measures, operating procedures, and governance approaches to support sustainable operations
  
  

Cross-cyber integration

• Identify where Cyber Defense & Resilience should connect with Enterprise Security, Digital Identity, Cyber Operate, or our other offerings
• Help teams bring Cyber into broader transformation pursuits when there is a clear client need
• Review priority opportunities identified through the intake process and shape the Cyber Defense & Resilience scope where it adds value
• Consider how the solution will move from advisory and implementation activities into ongoing operations and managed services
• Connect resilience and recovery requirements with broader technology transformation and business continuity objectives
  
  

Global coordination and pursuit support

• Act as a force multiplier for Deloitte firm pursuit teams by bringing Global assets, proof points, and operational experience into the opportunity where appropriate
• Connect teams with Cyber Defense & Resilience specialists, delivery centers, and alliance resources
• Build working relationships with offering leaders and technical specialists across the Deloitte network
• Coordinate existing expertise and materials rather than recreate work already available elsewhere in Deloitte
• Keep assumptions, dependencies, transition considerations, and open decisions clear so the Deloitte firm team can approve the final approach
  
  

AI-enabled solution development

• Use approved AI tools to support research, solution workshops, and development of proposal content
• Assess how AI, automation, and intelligent operations could improve the security solution or delivery model
• Support development of solution concepts into demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and operational use cases
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven detection, response, threat analysis, and operational efficiencies into solution architectures
• Apply professional judgment when reviewing AI-generated content and remain accountable for the quality of the final work
  
  

Assets and offering development

• Turn successful pursuit approaches into reusable solution patterns, playbooks, operating models, and reference architectures
• Capture qualifications and proof points that can support future opportunities
• Contribute Cyber Defense & Resilience content to sales materials and other Global Cyber priorities
• Feed pursuit insights back to Global Cyber Defense & Resilience leadership to help improve the offering
• Maintain reusable content in line with confidentiality, intellectual property, and data-handling requirements

Cyber Defense & Resilience teams help organizations strengthen their ability to detect, respond to, recover from, and adapt to cyber threats. The portfolio includes security operations, attack surface management, threat detection and response, cyber incident readiness and recovery, managed extended detection and response (MXDR), threat intelligence, and technology resilience services. Deloitte helps organizations modernize security operations, improve incident preparedness, accelerate response, and build resilience across business and technology environments.

The Global Cyber Solution Hub supports Deloitte member firm teams on priority opportunities across the Cyber portfolio. This global team helps teams shape solutions, locate relevant expertise, and reuse proven materials. Deloitte member firms remain responsible for the client relationship, approvals, and final deliverables.

Qualifications

Must have skills / project experience / certifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in cyber consulting, security operations, incident response, cyber resilience, managed security services, or a solution architect or presales architect role
• Experience supporting large or complex pursuits
• Depth in one or more Cyber Defense & Resilience domains, such as SOC transformation, MXDR, threat detection and response, cyber threat intelligence, attack surface management, incident response, cyber recovery, or technology resilience
• Demonstrated ability to shape a solution from operating model and service architecture through delivery model and estimate
• Ability to explain and defend a technical approach with senior pursuit stakeholders and technical specialists
• Commercial fluency, including an understanding of managed services pricing models, margin considerations, and deal constructs
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to produce proposal-ready content and a clear presentation narrative
• Experience working across geographies and with distributed teams
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  
  

Skills

• Practical use of approved AI tools in proposal drafting, research, or solution development
• Familiarity with Deloitte methods and the Global Cyber offering portfolio
• Experience with leading cyber defense technologies, security operations platforms, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, cloud-native security tooling, or attack surface management solutions
• Experience with managed security services and transition-to-operate programs
• Experience working with global delivery centers or distributed teams
• Relevant credentials such as CISSP, GIAC certifications, GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, GCFE, AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft Security certifications, or equivalent technical certifications
• Experience incorporating automation, orchestration, AI, and analytics into security operations
  
  

Education:

• BE, B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent degree from an accredited university
