Solar EPC Engineering & Project Execution Manager

Lubi Electronics is looking for a highly capable and execution-oriented Solar EPC Design & Cost Optimization Manager to lead the design, cost optimization, vendor management, and execution of MW-scale rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing solar power plants, optimizing project costs through engineering improvements, identifying competitive vendors, and managing project execution from design through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design MW-scale rooftop and ground-mounted solar power projects.
• Prepare and review plant layouts, SLDs, BOQs, cable schedules, equipment specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Optimize system design to maximize generation and reduce overall EPC cost.
• Perform inverter sizing, transformer sizing, cable sizing, DC/AC ratio optimization, and energy yield analysis.
• Identify opportunities to reduce project costs through engineering optimization and value engineering.
• Maintain strong knowledge of solar market pricing and available technologies.
• Develop and manage relationships with module, inverter, structure, transformer, cable, HT equipment, and other key suppliers.
• Identify reliable vendors and contractors capable of delivering quality products and services at competitive prices.
• Support procurement activities by evaluating technical proposals and vendor quotations.
• Manage project execution activities from engineering handover through commissioning.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and customers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project schedules, quality standards, budgets, and site progress.
• Resolve technical and execution-related issues during project implementation.
• Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project commissioning, testing, and final handover activities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on projects ranging from 1 MW to 25 MW.
• Experience in captive and group captive solar projects.
• Exposure to net metering, CEIG, DISCOM, GETCO, or other regulatory approval processes.
• Familiarity with project management and design software used in the solar industry.
