We are seeking a Software Engineer for our Network Reliability Engineering (NRE) team to design and build network automation solutions and front-end applications that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and visibility across the enterprise network environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who combines strong software development skills with a solid understanding of networking concepts and enjoys building scalable tools that solve infrastructure and operations challenges.

This is a hands-on technical role within a cross-functional engineering team responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining software solutions that support network engineering, automation, observability, and operational reliability. The successful candidate will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain network automation solutions to streamline operational tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve service reliability.
  • Build and enhance front-end interfaces, dashboards, and internal platforms that enable engineering and operations teams to use automation tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with network engineering, infrastructure, and other IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
  • Support the design, implementation, and management of automation frameworks that improve network configurability, observability, supportability, and performance.
  • Drive engineering initiatives across the full project lifecycle, including research, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and data issues within defined timelines, including support for production environments.
  • Develop, support, and maintain software and automation capabilities that improve the productivity of network engineers and operations teams.
  • Contribute to the modernization, optimization, and redesign of existing tools and platforms to improve stability, usability, and maintainability.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 operational support for automation platforms and related engineering solutions as required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of software development experience, preferably in network engineering, infrastructure automation, or a related domain.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of software development fundamentals, including design, testing, debugging, version control, and maintenance across the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience designing and implementing reliable, scalable, and secure automation systems or internal engineering platforms.
  • Hands-on experience building or supporting web-based user interfaces, dashboards, or front-end applications.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and network operations workflows.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience working in Linux-based environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation frameworks, REST APIs, and integrations with infrastructure or observability platforms.
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks and modern web application development practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, and software delivery practices in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, network-as-code, or platform engineering concepts.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, telemetry, and reliability engineering practices for enterprise infrastructure
