Software Engineer ( Java , AWS )

Description

Infor is seeking a Software Engineer who is passionate about developing high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver products that drive business value for our customers. This role is ideal for engineers with strong technical expertise who thrive in collaborative, agile environments and are eager to contribute to product innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deliver software features aligned with business needs.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and Infor development standards.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to ensure software quality and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects, production issues, and technical challenges.
• Contribute to system performance, scalability, reliability, and security improvements.
• Support deployment activities and maintain the health and stability of production environments.
• Work with cloud technologies, APIs, databases, and modern development frameworks to build enterprise-grade solutions.
• Document technical designs, implementation details, and best practices to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies and engineering practices to improve product quality and development efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, and relational databases.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, and Azure.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Exposure to microservices architecture, containerization, and monitoring tools.
