Social Impact & Program Development Manager

About Lata Agrawal Foundation

Lata Agrawal Foundation (LAF) is a Section 8 nonprofit organization working to create meaningful opportunities for children and communities through education, technology, career guidance, volunteering and community development.

Our initiatives include technology and STEM education through Buniyad Next Gen Robotics, computer education, career guidance, volunteer-led education programs and support for communities and organizations working with people in need.

We are looking for someone who can help us move from individual activities and projects to structured, measurable and scalable social-impact programs.

The Role

As Social Impact & Program Development Manager, you will help build the systems behind LAF's growth.

You will work closely with the leadership team, volunteers, NGOs, schools, educational institutions, CSR teams and other partners to identify needs, design programs, implement them, measure their impact and document the results.

This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who enjoys working directly with people and solving real problems rather than only preparing reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Development

- Convert LAF's existing activities into structured programs with clear objectives, processes and outcomes.
- Develop programs in areas such as:
- Digital literacy
- STEM and robotics
- Career guidance
- Computer lab activation
- Educational support
- Volunteer-led teaching
- Community development
- Create simple program guidelines that volunteers and partner organizations can follow.
- Identify opportunities to replicate successful programs in other schools, NGOs and communities.

2. Impact Measurement

Develop systems to measure:

- Number of students reached
- Number of active students
- Number of classes conducted
- Volunteer hours
- Skills taught
- Student attendance
- Student projects completed
- Learning improvement
- Career guidance sessions
- Computer labs activated
- Institutions partnered
- Resources distributed
- Follow-up outcomes

Create monthly and quarterly impact reports.

The goal is to move LAF from measuring only "activities completed" to measuring "what changed because of the activity."

3. Partnerships

Identify and develop relationships with:

- Schools
- Colleges
- NGOs
- Orphanages
- Government institutions
- MSW colleges
- CSR departments
- Corporate volunteering teams
- Educational institutions
- Community organizations

Maintain a database of potential and existing partners and track the status of each relationship.

4. Volunteer Development

Help build LAF's volunteer ecosystem.

- Identify suitable volunteers.
- Create volunteer roles.
- Develop volunteer onboarding material.
- Match volunteers with projects.
- Track volunteer contributions.
- Collect work submitted through the LAF volunteer portal.
- Recognize high-performing volunteers.
- Develop systems to retain volunteers.

5. Documentation & Storytelling

Turn LAF's work into credible documentation.

Create:

- Project reports
- Impact stories
- Case studies
- Beneficiary stories
- Before/after stories
- Monthly activity reports
- Annual impact reports
- CSR reports
- Partner presentations
- Program proposals

Work with the social-media team to convert suitable impact stories into content.

6. CSR & Grant Support

Support the leadership team in developing:

- CSR proposals
- Grant applications
- Project budgets
- Project concept notes
- Impact reports
- Donor updates
- CSR presentations

Maintain a database of relevant CSR opportunities, grants and institutional partnerships.

7. Research

Research social problems and identify opportunities where LAF can create meaningful impact.

Examples:

- Existing computer labs that are not being used effectively
- Schools requiring technology education
- Children requiring career guidance
- NGOs requiring educational support
- Companies looking for employee volunteering opportunities
- Colleges looking for social-work placements

8. Monitoring LAF Projects

Regularly communicate with project partners and volunteers to ensure programs are actually being implemented.

Collect:

- Attendance
- Photos/videos
- Student work
- Volunteer reports
- Feedback
- Outcomes

Verify information before it is included in public reports.

9. Build Replicable Models

One of the most important responsibilities will be identifying programs that LAF can replicate.

For example:

LAF Digital Lab Activation Program

Existing computer lab
→ LAF curriculum
→ Volunteer/teacher
→ Classes
→ Assessments
→ Student projects
→ Career guidance
→ Impact measurement
→ Replicate in another institution

The employee should help turn successful experiments into repeatable programs.
