Requirements

Your Responsibilities

• Edit content designed for high retention, including:
• Reels / Shorts / YouTube videos
• Ads and performance-driven creatives
• Optimize videos by focusing on:
• Captivating hooks within the first 3 seconds
• Maximizing watch time and retention rates
• Collaborate closely with founders and creators to develop content that grabs attention and encourages scrolling
• Manage sound design, pacing, transitions, and storytelling elements
• Customize edits to fit the specific requirements of each platform (Instagram, YouTube, Ads)
• Leverage data and insights such as drop-off points and engagement metrics to enhance editing quality

Qualifications We Seek

• Between 1 and 4 years of experience in content or video editing
• Proficient with:
• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
• Experience collaborating with:
• Creators, influencers, startups, and content production teams
• Solid understanding of:
• The psychology behind short-form content
• Effective hooks, pacing, and storytelling techniques
• Plus if you:
• Have contributed to YouTube or Instagram growth initiatives
• Are familiar with performance marketing creatives
