Job Summary
The Senior Test Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring software quality by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies. This role emphasizes mentorship and collaboration, advocating for best practices throughout the development lifecycle. The Senior Test Specialist will leverage advanced technical skills to enhance testing efficiency and contribute significantly to the overall quality assurance process within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design And Implement Detailed Test Plans For Complex Features And Modules Using Python, Ensuring Thorough Coverage And Alignment With Project Requirements.
2. Utilize Selenium And Python To Develop And Maintain Automated Testing Frameworks, Significantly Increasing Test Efficiency And Reliability While Advocating For Timely Fixes And Quality Assurance Best Practices.
3. Identify, Reproduce, And Document Software Defects Utilizing Python Scripts, Ensuring Compliance With Established Procedures And Maintaining High-Quality Standards.
4. Proactively Collaborate With Development Teams To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions, Actively Participating In Test Reviews To Drive Continuous Improvement And Share Best Practices Across Teams.
5. Stay Abreast Of The Latest Testing Technology Trends In Python And Microservices, Contributing To The Creation And Maintenance Of Innovative Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries, While Implementing Advanced Testing Approaches To Address Evolving Software Complexities.
Skill Requirements
1. Expert Proficiency In Python Programming And Test Automation Frameworks.
2. Strong Knowledge Of Selenium For Automated Testing Of Web Applications.
3. In-Depth Understanding Of Microservices Architecture And Its Testing Methodologies.
4. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills With A Focus On Software Quality And Defect Resolution.
5. Strong Communication And Mentorship Skills For Guiding Junior Team Members.
