Job Profile: Senior Program Manager

Experience: 5-8 Years in Program Management

About Swiggy

Swiggy is India's leading on-demand convenience platform, serving millions of customers across Food Delivery, Instamart (quick commerce), and Dineout. With one of the most complex, multi-surface product ecosystems in the country, we operate at a pace and scale that demands exceptional execution discipline.

Our Program Management team is at the heart of how Swiggy ships. We sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Business - translating ambitious roadmaps into shipped features, and shipped features into measurable outcomes. We're now building the next generation of this team: one that pairs the best of structured execution with AI-augmented intelligence.

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Program Manager to drive end-to-end program management of strategic initiatives across Swiggy's product streams. This isn't a coordination role - it's a leadership role for someone who owns outcomes.

You'll work directly with product leaders, engineering leads, and business heads to build and execute roadmaps that move the needle on Swiggy's most important goals. You'll manage the full lifecycle: from planning and scoping through to GTM and post-launch impact. And you'll do it as part of a team that is actively reinventing how program management works - using AI to move faster, see further, and make better decisions.

If you're someone who thrives in ambiguity, has a bias for action, and wants to be part of building a genuinely AI-first way of working, this role is for you.

What will you get to do here?

  • Drive Strategic Program Execution
  • Own end-to-end program management for 5-6 major product initiatives simultaneously, working across Product, Engineering, DS, Analytics, and GTM teams
  • Build and maintain goal-backward execution blueprints — translating AOP commitments into quarterly milestones, dependency maps, and resource plans
  • Proactively identify risk, manage scope changes, and navigate trade-offs with data and speed; escalate when needed with a clear point of view, not just a problem statement
  • Lead scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross-functional reviews; act as the connective tissue between teams moving at different rhythms
  • Own Stakeholder Communication
  • Maintain a single source of truth on program status across all stakeholders — from engineers to senior leadership
  • Drive portfolio review cadences and produce crisp, insight-led updates (not just status reports) that help leaders make decisions
  • Manage competing priorities across teams with clarity, transparency, and confidence
  • Operate at the Intersection of Product and Execution
  • Participate actively in PRD reviews, feature prioritization, scoping, and estimation; push back when plans are unrealistic, advocate when teams are under-resourced
  • Coordinate cross-stream dependencies, manage the critical path, and keep GTM timelines defensible
  • Ensure quality practices are embedded throughout delivery — not just at the end
  • Build AI-Augmented Workflows (Key Differentiator)
  • This team is building an AI-first operating model. You'll be expected to adopt, and eventually build, AI tools that augment your work — automated status synthesis, risk detection, reporting agents, and more
  • You'll use AI not as a shortcut, but as a force multiplier: spending less time on information plumbing and more time on the judgment calls that actually move programs forward
  • Experience with or curiosity about AI tools (Claude, Glean, n8n, ChatGPT, or similar) is a genuine plus; this is the direction the role is heading

What We're Looking For

  • Experience
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in program/project management/Business roles, preferably in a tech product company or high-growth startup
  • Demonstrated track record of driving complex, multi-team programs end-to-end — from planning through to GTM and impact measurement
  • Experience working across both technical and non-technical stakeholders; you're comfortable in a tech spec review and equally comfortable in a business review
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience); MBA is a plus
  • Execution & Problem-Solving
  • Strong structured thinker — you break ambiguous problems into clear workstreams, build plans that hold, and adapt fast when reality changes
  • High ownership and hustle: you don't wait for perfect information, you drive toward resolution
  • Experienced in Agile/Scrum; you know when the methodology serves the team and when to be pragmatic about it
  • Proficient in tools like Jira, Confluence, and project tracking systems; experience with dashboards and reporting is valued
  • Communication & Leadership
  • Can write and speak with clarity and confidence — to a tech lead, a product head, or a VP
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and competing priorities without losing momentum or losing people
  • A natural collaborator who builds trust quickly across diverse teams
  • What Sets the Best Candidates Apart
  • You've operated in a fast-scaling consumer tech environment where the goal post moves constantly and you've kept the team focused anyway
  • You've built or contributed to tooling that made your team operate better — a dashboard, a process, an automation
  • You have genuine curiosity about AI and how it will change how knowledge work gets done; you're not just aware of it, you've tried things

Why This Role, Why Now

Swiggy's program management team is at an inflection point. We're not just hiring to fill a seat - we're building a team that will operate 2–3 years ahead of where most PMOs are today.

The Person Who Joins In This Role Will

  • Work on programs that touch hundreds of millions of users across India
  • Be part of a team actively redesigning how program management works with AI
  • Have direct visibility to senior leadership and meaningful influence on how Swiggy ships
  • Grow fast in an environment that rewards execution, ownership, and intellectual curiosity in equal measure

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regards to race, color, religion, sex, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by the law
