The Work You'll Do
At Sovos, we're transforming how companies around the world manage tax compliance---helping half of the Fortune 500 and thousands more stay ahead in a complex, ever-changing global regulatory landscape. As a Senior Network Operations Center Analyst, you'll serve as a critical link between customer support and engineering teams, driving technical problem resolution and ensuring the reliability and performance of our global network infrastructure.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role. You'll lead resolution on complex network issues, mentor junior analysts, and be a go-to resource during critical incidents---all while helping build the operational foundation that keeps Sovos running at scale.

The Work You'll Do

As a Senior Network Operations Center Analyst, you'll serve as a critical link between customer support and engineering teams, driving technical problem resolution and ensuring the reliability and performance of our global network infrastructure.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role. You'll lead resolution on complex network issues, mentor junior analysts, and be a go-to resource during critical incidents---all while helping build the operational foundation that keeps Sovos running at scale.
More Specifically, You Will
- Monitor network systems and services using NOC tools and dashboards
- Respond to alerts and troubleshoot network issues promptly
- Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or supervisors as needed
- Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance tasks
- Mentor analysts and lead resolution for complex issues
- Assist in implementing network changes and upgrades
- Maintain accurate logs and reports for compliance and analysis
- Manage technical escalations by triaging issues, determining root causes, and coordinating resolution efforts
- Serve as technical point of contact during critical incidents, providing updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to resolve complex issues
- Document technical issues, workarounds, and resolutions in knowledge management systems
- Identify patterns in escalated issues to recommend product improvements
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 coverage for critical issues
- 3+ years of experience in network monitoring or support
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to navigate complex technical systems
- Experience with monitoring tools and ticketing systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience with incident management processes and tools
- Strong time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
- Professional fluency in English (written and verbal) for communication with customers and internal stakeholders
