We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Microsoft SQL Server. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications and working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices.
Work extensively with MS SQL Server, including database design, queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Troubleshoot application and database-related production issues.
Optimize application and SQL Server performance.
Integrate applications with third-party and internal systems.
Write unit and integration tests using JUnit/Mockito.
Collaborate with QA, DevOps, architects, business analysts, and other development teams.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Core Java.
Excellent knowledge of Java 8/11/17/21.
Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
Hands-on experience in Microservices architecture.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Web Services.
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Strong SQL Skills Including
Complex queries
Joins and subqueries
Stored Procedures
Functions
Views
Indexing
Query optimization
Performance tuning
Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
Good understanding of OOP, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and Design Patterns.
Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and Mockito.
Good to Have
Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Exposure to AWS/Azure.
Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of Spring Security/OAuth2/JWT.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Senior-Level Expectations
Ability to independently design and implement complex features.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to review code and provide technical recommendations.
Experience handling production issues and root-cause analysis.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to mentor and guide junior/mid-level developers.
Education
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
