The Apprentice – Legal will support the Legal & Compliance team in day-to-day operations such as drafting and reviewing documents, maintaining legal records, assisting in litigation and compliance activities, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to corporate legal processes and build foundational experience in a professional legal environment.

The Apprentice – Legal will support the Legal & Compliance team in day-to-day operations such as drafting and reviewing documents, maintaining legal records, assisting in litigation and compliance activities, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to corporate legal processes and build foundational experience in a professional legal environment.
Legal and Compliance Support
- Assist in monitoring and summarizing legal and regulatory updates relevant to business operations.
- Help prepare compliance checklists, reports, and documentation for internal use.
- Support implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing various business contracts (vendor, customer, or service agreements).
- Maintain and update the central repository for executed agreements and templates.
- Track contract renewals and ensure timely documentation.
- Support the team in coordinating with external counsels and maintaining case files.
- Prepare case summaries, status reports, and assist with document submissions for ongoing matters.
- Maintain accurate records of litigation, recovery, and arbitration cases.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical legal files, including agreements, notices, and statutory documents.
- Assist in preparing periodic MIS reports for internal review.
- Ensure confidentiality and data integrity in all legal documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect and verify information for legal purposes.
- Liaise with external legal firms, authorities, or vendors under supervision.
- Support the legal team in audits, reviews, and project-based assignments.
- Ensure that EMS is properly implemented and that environmental matters are properly handled at all stages
- The incumbent should be ISO 14001 :2015 trained or has a good awareness about Environmental initiatives/ ESG
- Should be aware of environmental laws and regulations
- Should be able to update regulatory bodies on time
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB)
- 0–1 year of experience or internship exposure in a corporate legal or law firm environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of contract, corporate, and commercial laws.
- Good legal drafting and document review skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal databases.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling and reviewing legal documents.
- Learning Agility: Willingness to learn and take initiative in new areas.
- Communication: Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
- Collaboration: Works well with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Integrity: Maintains confidentiality and adheres to professional ethics.
