Senior Engineer - Program & Project Management

Job Summary
This role supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects by coordinating within the team, tracking deliverables, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. The individual is responsible for supporting project documentation, maintaining project schedules, and assisting in the resolution of project-related issues to enable successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Apply program and project management tools such as MS Project or Jira to monitor project schedules, track progress, and update task status for assigned deliverables.
2. Utilize project management methodologies to document requirements, maintain project logs, and assist in preparing reports for internal team use.
3. Support the implementation of defined project processes by following standard operating procedures and ensuring compliance with quality guidelines.
4. Collaborate with team members to gather project data, address routine queries, and support the resolution of minor project issues using project tracking systems.
5. Participate in project meetings, capturing action items and updating internal stakeholders on task completion and next steps.
6. Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including CMMi-related records as required.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong understanding of program and project management principles with experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Trello.
2. Good analytical and organizational skills for tracking project tasks and maintaining accurate documentation.
3. Familiarity with IT project lifecycle and basic risk or issue tracking.
4. Good communication skills for effective team coordination and documentation.
5. Experience with standard documentation practices and quality compliance.
Other Requirements
1. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from PMI or equivalent certification is optional but valuable.
