Role Overview

As a Creative Copywriter at Zocket, you'll own the creative communication for multiple brands across industries. You'll be responsible for writing compelling ad scripts, campaign messaging, social media content, and AI-first creative concepts that deliver measurable business impact. This is a fast-paced, high-ownership role where you'll work closely with designers, video editors, account managers, and clients to bring ideas to life. From conceptualizing cinematic campaigns to writing performance-driven ads, you'll play a key role in shaping how brands communicate across digital platforms.

What You'll DO

• Write compelling ad scripts, social media copy, UGC concepts, campaign messaging, and brand communication across multiple formats.
• Create content for 15–30 second performance ads, short-form videos, long-form videos, social campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling initiatives
• Write engaging hooks, CTAs, headlines, captions, and narratives optimized for engagement and conversions
• Develop scripts for cinematic, high-production-value video campaigns with a strong understanding of visual storytelling
• Translate creative ideas into detailed scene descriptions, visual prompts, and AI-ready scripts for creative production workflows
• Create storyboards, shot breakdowns, and narrative structures that help designers and video editors execute concepts effectively
• Research every brand's previous campaigns, creative assets, communication style, competitors, and positioning before developing new concepts
• Develop multiple creative angles tailored to different audience segments, buying intent, and platforms
• Understand platform-specific content strategies across Meta, Instagram, YouTube, Google, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms
• Collaborate closely with designers, video editors, motion designers, and creative strategists to ensure seamless visual storytelling
• Work directly with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and clients to understand campaign objectives, gather feedback, iterate on concepts, and ensure client satisfaction
• Handle multiple brands simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality, consistency, and turnaround times
• Stay updated on advertising trends, social media culture, AI content tools, internet trends, and emerging creative formats.
• Ensure every piece of communication is polished, error-free, and aligned with the brand's tone of voice and objectives

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in creative writing, copywriting, advertising, content marketing, scriptwriting, or creative strategy
• Strong portfolio showcasing advertising campaigns, ad scripts, social media content, and performance-driven creative work
• Experience writing scripts for cinematic or high-production-value video content is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of advertising psychology, storytelling, and conversion-focused communication
• Excellent ability to write compelling hooks, engaging narratives, and persuasive copy that drives action
• Experience working closely with designers, video editors, and creative teams throughout the content creation process.
• Experience handling content for multiple brands and adapting communication styles across industries
• Prior experience working with established or legacy brands is an added advantage.
• Experience creating storyboards, shot lists, or visual scripting for video production is an added advantage
• Ability to think visually and communicate ideas that translate effectively into compelling creative
• Excellent command of grammar, spelling, language, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative and content generation tools is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of audience psychology and platform-specific content performance
• Ability to receive feedback positively, iterate quickly, and continuously improve creative output based on stakeholder and client input
• Strong research skills with the ability to analyze brands, competitors, previous campaigns, and industry trends before developing creative concepts.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• High ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage projects from concept to execution
