Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines have obtained support through Deloitte Tax in India. Work you'll do

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically curious, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts across stakeholder groups. Prior platform experience is welcome but not required — the ability to learn OneSource and Intela on the job is a core expectation. As a Senior Configuration Specialist on the Tax Transformation Office (TTO) team, you will be responsible for…

• Initialize and maintain the Chart of Accounts (CoA) in a 75-tab source file; extend the chart to workpapers and filing systems, including OneSource, OIT, GoSystem, and CCH.
• Map formula-based chart configurations; create and maintain unique keys in the Intela database using information from subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Maintain technology-team configuration tabs, including Intela settings, technical configurations, adjustments, accounts for federal, state, and international obligations, data flows, and third-party integrations.
• Partner with SMEs, support teams, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to align dynamic report-layout packages, import reports during deployment, test configuration changes, and validate configurations in the Intela test project.
• Track changes, requests, and pilot feedback in a centralized tracker; transition feedback to QA; and build working knowledge of Intela, generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), and Structured Query Language (SQL).
  
  

The team

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office (TTO) is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of innovative, enterprise technology, tools, and standard processes to support the delivery of tax services. The TTO team focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP’s ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient tax services to our clients. It is a dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds from tax technical, technology development, change management, Six Sigma, and project management. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving process and tool development and implementation including training development, engagement management, tool design, and implementation.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience using Microsoft Excel formulas, multi-tab workbooks, and data ranges.
• Experience analyzing Chart of Accounts configurations, account mappings, or formula-based configuration logic.
• Experience managing configuration changes, feature requests, testing activities, or deployment activities.
• Experience coordinating with business subject matter experts, technology teams, support teams, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
• Experience tracking changes, requests, and feedback in Microsoft Excel or a project tracker.
• Experience performing configuration checks or test execution in a workpaper or test environment.
• Experience documenting configuration questions, data flows, or integration requirements for technology teams.
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience using one or more of OneSource, OIT, GoSystem, CCH, or Intela.
• Experience using generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) or Structured Query Language (SQL) to query databases or analyze configuration data.
