Senior Category Manager

We're Hiring: Category Manager - K12 | Unacademy

At Unacademy, we're building one of India's most impactful learning ecosystems for school students, and we're looking for a Category Manager -K12 to help drive growth, learner success, and business performance at scale.

This is a high-ownership role where you'll work closely with educators, product, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to build and scale learning programs that impact millions of students across Classes 6-12.

Important: We are looking for candidates strictly from the EdTech industry.

Candidates from top-tier institutions and strong academic/professional pedigrees will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive category growth through acquisition, retention, and monetization initiatives
2. Launch and scale courses, batches, and academic programs
3. Partner with educators to ensure academic excellence and learner satisfaction
4. Analyze business performance, learner behavior, and market opportunities
5. Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams
6. Improve learner engagement, retention, and overall category performance

What We're Looking For

1. 3-5 years of experience in Category Management, Growth, Business Operations, or Program Management
2. Mandatory experience in the EdTech industry
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Proven ability to drive business growth and manage cross-functional stakeholders
5. Experience in K12 education will be a significant advantage
6. Strong ownership mindset with excellent execution capabilities
