Nasdaq is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI applications within our Corporate Finance Division. This is a hands-on technical role best suited for a developer with a solid foundation in software engineering and a growing understanding of Generative AI concepts.



You'll thrive in this position if you are a motivated self-starter with strong technical fundamentals, good communication skills, and a desire to grow your expertise in AI-powered solutions within the finance space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement and implement AI solutions; ensuring quality, performance and reliability in line with team standards and established procedures.
  • Chip in to the team’s adoption of best practices in software development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and technology to implement requirements and chip in to well-defined technical solutions!
  • Collaborate efficiently within geographically dispersed teams
  • Collect user feedback and participate in design iterations to improve usability and happiness!
  • Work on solving sophisticated problems under the guidance of senior team members, applying existing procedures and escalating where appropriate.
  • Handle risks related to quality and delivery timeliness, with awareness of the potential for significant schedule delays on interdependent work streams.

We expect you to have:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, with a good understanding of its ecosystem and best practices.
  • Proficiency with AWS and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge with Visual Studio Code and other modern development environments
  • Understanding of Generative AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to explain technical concepts concisely to team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience: Approximately 2 to 4 years of software development experience, with at least some exposure to AI/ML concepts or tools.
  • Experience working in or supporting finance-related environments is a plus, though not required.
  • Familiarity with RPA tools (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) or web-scraping techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development Methodologies a plus

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
