Position Summary

Level: SAP PPDS Senior Consultant

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.

Work you’ll do:

As an SAP PPDS Consultant you will be responsible for successful delivery of SAP PPDS process deliverables. You will be expected to have hands-on experience and knowledge of PPDS processes as well as technology design, build, test and deployment efforts for various tools/technologies. You will be involved in improving operational metrics, business case development, and performance measurement. You will have an opportunity to enhance your technical knowledge and manage client relationships within the context of your individual role, for the full lifecycle of the engagements.

You will be responsible for:

• Gathering the business requirements from the client
• Performing the Fit-Gap Analysis and identifying the custom developments required to meet the client requirements
• Configuring the system and writing functional specifications
• Involvement in all the testing phases including Unit test, regression test, user acceptance test
• Regular interaction with the client for day-to-day activities
• Active participation in the cutover, Go-Live and Hyper-care activities

Qualifications:

Must have Skills:

• 6-10 Years of hands-on experience with PPDS
• Strong Knowledge of PPDS Master data- Product, Location, resources, PDS, Transportation lanes, Model & Version.
• Strong knowledge if transaction data like Planned order/Production orders STR/STO, and their relationships- Pegging.
• Strong Knowledge of Planning engines- Heuristics and Optimizer.
• Strong Knowledge of Setup optimizer, Block Planning, Campaign Planning.
• Strong knowledge in setting up various kind of planning processes (Make to Stock, Make to Order) and mapping in PPDS.
• Experience with Shop Floor control, MRP, VC BOM/routing, POs/STOs set-up, Batch Management & Handling Unit Management.
  
  

Education:

• BE/B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc. (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
