We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Functional Consultant to lead and support enterprise-wide Master Data Management initiatives with a strong focus on Material Master, Customer Master, and Vendor Master processes. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, driving the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP MM solutions across global operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP MM configuration, master data governance, process standardization, and cross-functional integration. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, conducting workshops, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring high-quality master data management practices. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, extensive SAP implementation experience, and the ability to collaborate with global teams to deliver business transformation initiatives. The position offers an opportunity to influence strategic SAP programs, mentor team members, and contribute to large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Material Master, Customer Master, and Vendor Master data objects within SAP.
• Lead business workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Design and implement end-to-end Master Data Management solutions ensuring seamless cross-functional integration.
• Analyze business requirements and align master data processes with organizational objectives.
• Configure SAP MM solutions and prepare functional specifications for technical development teams.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers and technical teams to implement enhancements and custom solutions.
• Ensure master data quality through validation, enrichment, governance, and compliance processes.
• Support data migration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Work closely with business process owners and global SAP teams to standardize and optimize processes.
• Lead SAP implementation projects, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and user support.
• Provide functional expertise on SAP MM and related integration areas.
• Monitor solution performance and recommend continuous improvements to business processes.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide leadership across project teams.
• Support SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives and adoption of modern SAP technologies.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• SAP MM certification with strong functional consulting expertise.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration, implementation, and support.
• Strong expertise in Material Master, Customer Master, and Vendor Master management.
• Proven experience in at least four full-cycle SAP implementations with a focus on master data management.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration, data governance, and master data processes.
• Knowledge of BTP, BAPI, User Exits, RFC connections, and ABAP-related concepts.
• Ability to independently lead workshops, gather requirements, and drive solution design.
• Strong leadership experience managing project teams and mentoring consultants.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional business requirements.
• Ability to drive business transformation through scalable SAP solutions and best practices.
