Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP and good knowledge of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). The ideal candidate should have experience in SAP development, enhancements, integrations and customisation, along with an understanding of GTS-related business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customise and maintain SAP ABAP programs based on business requirements.
  • Work on Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms (RICEF).
  • Develop and maintain ABAP objects such as Reports, BAPIs, BADI, User Exits and Smart Forms.
  • Work on SAP GTS-related developments, enhancements and integrations.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements.
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
  • Support SAP GTS integration with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA systems.
  • Participate in unit testing, integration testing and production support.
  • Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong knowledge of Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP programming.
  • Experience with Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADI and User Exits.
  • Good knowledge or working experience in SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).
  • Understanding of SAP GTS processes such as Compliance Management, Customs Management and Risk Management.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration concepts such as RFC, IDoc and APIs.
  • Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Hands-on experience in SAP GTS implementation or support projects.
  • Knowledge of SAP GTS integration with external systems.
  • Experience in performance tuning and debugging.
  • Exposure to S/4HANA migration or upgrade projects.
