Brief Description
We are seeking a motivated Relationship Manager / Equity Dealer to handle client order execution, provide real-time market support, and assist clients in equity trading activities. The role involves active dealing on trading terminals, client servicing, and supporting revenue generation through efficient execution and strong client engagement. The ideal candidate should have sound market knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced trading environment.Job Responsibilities
- Execute client orders efficiently on equity trading terminals (cash and derivatives segments)
- Provide real-time support to clients for buy/sell transactions and order placement
- Handle dealing activities including order management, trade execution, and confirmation
- Maintain strong communication with clients regarding market updates and trade opportunities
- Support Relationship Managers in client servicing and revenue generation activities
- Monitor market movements, stock prices, and trading volumes to assist clients with timely execution
- Ensure accuracy in order placement and adherence to exchange guidelines
- Assist in resolving client queries related to trading, settlements, and contract notes
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal trading policies
- Build strong client relationships through responsive and efficient service
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate in any discipline (Finance or Commerce preferred)
- Mandatory: NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives Certification (or relevant NISM certification)
- 1–4 years of experience in equity dealing, broking, or capital markets preferred
- Freshers with strong market knowledge and certification may also be considered
- Strong understanding of equity markets, derivatives, and trading mechanisms
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with trading terminals (e.g., ODIN, NOW, Nest, or similar platforms)
- Good communication and client handling skills
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-moving market conditions
- Strong attention to detail and execution accuracy
- Basic sales orientation and customer service mindset
- Good analytical thinking and market awareness
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations
