React Native Developer

Job Description

We are building Shubh Darshan, a spiritual content and live streaming app on React Native (Expo). We move fast, ship real features, and hold a high bar for how the app looks and feels. You'll work directly with decision makers, own features fully, and see your work in the hands of real users within days of writing it. Responsibilities: - Build and own features on a live production React Native (Expo) app. - Implement and maintain payment and subscription flows, Razorpay, paywalls, and in-app purchases. - Work with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Functions). - Handle video streaming and live content with react-native-video. - Manage app state with Redux Toolkit and redux-persist. - Implement smooth animations using Reanimated and Lottie. - Integrate REST APIs, debug edge cases, and own the fix end-to-end. - Handle Play Store releases and production deployments. Requirements: - Experience in a product-based IT company, preferably in a startup environment. - Please look for candidates whose projects/apps have at least 100k+ downloads on the Play Store. - Educational background in B. Tech / B. E. - Hands-on experience in building products from scratch, rather than only maintenance or bug fixing. Must-have skills: - React Native (Expo managed + bare workflow) with strong fundamentals. - TypeScript has no exceptions. - Payment gateway integration, Razorpay or equivalent (this is mandatory). - Redux Toolkit, redux-persist, react-redux. - Firebase Auth, Firestore, Crashlytics, Cloud Functions. - React Navigation (Stack, Bottom Tabs, Material Top Tabs). - React Native Reanimated + Gesture Handler. - REST API integration with Axios. - Expo ecosystem notifications, secure store, file system, audio, and sharing. Good to have: - Video streaming or live content experience. - Unity integration in React Native. - Mixpanel or similar analytics SDK experience. - Native Android build knowledge (Gradle, APK/AAB). - Experience with patch-package and native module patching.
