Job Description

WebCodeGenie Technology Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Ǫuality Analyst. The candidate must be self-driven, solution-oriented, and capable of working independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Job Requirement

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with manual testing concepts, mobile app testing, and responsive design testing.
• Ability to perform UI, functional, exploratory, and usability testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Knowledge of bug-tracking tools like Mantis.
• Knowledge of working with Project Management Systems like ActiveCollab.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis: Understand business and functional requirements for web and mobile applications.
• Test Case Creation: Develop detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data for both web and mobile applications.
• Test Execution: Perform Functional, UI, and Usability testing on web and mobile applications.
• Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and report defects using bug-tracking tools like Mantis.
• Cross-Browser & Cross-Platform Testing: Validate application behaviour across different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) for web and mobile applications.
• Compatibility Testing: Ensure app performance on different screen sizes, resolutions, and OS versions.
• Regression & Re-Testing: Verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues arise after changes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to resolve defects.
• Test Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of test cases, test execution reports, and defect logs.
