Job Title: Python+ Openshift Data engineer

Position: Senior Software Engineer

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Python OpenShift Developer with 5+ years of experience in developing, deploying, and managing scalable applications using Python, OpenShift, Databricks, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on development experience, knowledge of GitHub-based version control, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Healthcare domain experience will be an added advantage.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on OpenShift.
• Work with Databricks for data processing, transformation, and integration.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and database operations.
• Manage source code, branching, and version control using GitHub.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Identify and resolve application performance issues and technical challenges.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and CI/CD processes.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
• Practical experience with OpenShift and containerized application deployment.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Strong SQL skills, including query development and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and code management.
• Good understanding of application development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in the Healthcare domain.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, workflows, and industry standards.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, and development productivity.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
