We are looking for a Python Backend Developer with experience in Flask, FastAPI, AWS, PostgreSQL, and AI/LLM integration. The candidate will develop scalable backend applications, design databases, integrate AWS services, and build AI-powered solutions using AWS Bedrock.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend APIs using Python, Flask, and FastAPI.

Design, implement, and optimize database schemas, queries, and relationships using PostgreSQL and AWS database services.

Integrate applications with AWS services including Aurora RDS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and AWS Bedrock.

Develop AI-powered features using LLMs, Agentic AI concepts, and AWS Bedrock Agents.

Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Bruno.

Containerize applications using Docker.

Participate in code reviews, branch management, and merge requests using Git and GitLab.

Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and improve database queries.

Contribute to system design and architecture discussions for scalable backend solutions.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Python development.

Hands-on experience with Flask and FastAPI.

Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and Aurora RDS.

Knowledge of AWS services, including AWS Bedrock.

Understanding of LLM integration, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, and Tool Calling.

Experience in REST API development and testing.

Proficiency in Git, GitLab, and Docker.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

Knowledge of design patterns such as Singleton and Factory Pattern.

Must-Have Knowledge

Ability to design efficient database schemas and understand one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many relationships.

Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.

Good understanding of Git workflows, code reviews, merge requests, and collaborative development practices.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience working in Agile development environments.
