Ensure management of commercial bids in order to optimize success in contracts awarding and maximizing Saipem commercial results
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop the Proposal Plan
- Organize and hold the proposal kick-off meeting
- Define the bid cost structure, with the support of the Estimator
- Manage the interfaces with Partners and Client
- Ensure definition of the scope of work of each party involved in the bid
- Analyze Contract requirements and conditions
- Ensure definition of the cost estimates developed by the Estimator
- Approve the cost estimate of internally performed activities developed by the Estimator and based on the evaluations made by the other technical/procurement departments (engineering, procurement, etc.)
- Approve the preliminary project cash flow developed by the Estimator
- Ensure the definition of project organization, overall project schedule, overall execution plan, overall resource plan
- Ensure the integration of proposal packages prepared by the individual Operating Companies and Proposal Partners (if any) and reconcile possible discrepancies (for Onshore Project)
- Ensure the preparation of Cost Closure Reports
- Ensure the submittal of the Proposal to the Client
- Manage the post-bid clarification phase with the Client
- Lead the negotiations with clients to reach an agreement on the outstanding pricing, commercial, contractual and technical aspects of the Proposal and in the formalization of contracts
- Prepare the Proposal Close-out Report
- Prepare the Project Architecture
- Ensure that Risks Analysis is performed with the definition of the risk register through the Risks and Opportunity methodology application
