IISER, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, invites applications for Project Scientist Position in IISER from eligible and interested candidates
About- Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for the promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Minimum educational qualification
(as prescribed by the funding agency) Doctoral degree in Science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent Desirable Qualifications Candidates with PhD degree and technical proficiency in one of the relevant areas (biochemistry, microscopy, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology) and research experience are preferred. Training in cell culture workflow, handling of pathogens, infection studies, and BSL2/BSL3 practices are highly desirable. Age Max. 35 years

(as prescribed by the funding agency) Doctoral degree in Science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent Desirable Qualifications Candidates with PhD degree and technical proficiency in one of the relevant areas (biochemistry, microscopy, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology) and research experience are preferred. Training in cell culture workflow, handling of pathogens, infection studies, and BSL2/BSL3 practices are highly desirable. Number of posts 1 Fellowship amount Rs. 56,000 + HRA, as applicable. Tenure of the post 1 year. Position maybe renewable after a year subject to candidate’s performance.
