As a Project Manager within Accounting Services, you will lead and deliver transition and transformation initiatives across accounting operations, with a strong focus on process optimization, standardization, and automation. You will work closely with Program Managers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive execution, ensure governance, and deliver measurable business impact while navigating complex, global environments.

As a Project Manager within Accounting Services, you will lead and deliver transition and transformation initiatives across accounting operations, with a strong focus on process optimization, standardization, and automation. You will work closely with Program Managers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive execution, ensure governance, and deliver measurable business impact while navigating complex, global environments.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead end-to-end delivery of transition and transformation projects, ensuring scope, timelines, cost, and quality objectives are met.
- Establish structured project plans, track milestones, manage risks/issues, and ensure strong PMO governance.
- Drive disciplined execution with clear reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder updates.
- Manage and influence senior stakeholders across Accounting Services, Finance IT, regional teams, and business units.
- Act as a key interface to ensure alignment, manage expectations, and drive decision-making.
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments and drive outcomes without direct authority.
- Lead transformation initiatives focused on improving accounting processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across finance operations.
- Identify and implement scalable solutions to enhance efficiency and control.
- Lead change management activities, including communication strategy, training, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure successful adoption of new processes, tools, and transformation initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor project performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in project/program management within finance, accounting, or shared services environments
- Strong experience in transition and transformation projects (with a clear focus on transformation)
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Strong project management expertise (planning, execution, risk management, governance)
- Structured mindset with ability to drive execution and influence without authority
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Accounting Services / Shared Services / Global Business Services (GBS)
- Exposure to finance transformation programs, ERP implementations, or automation initiatives
- Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma process improvement methodologies
- PMP / PRINCE2 (preferred)
- Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred)
- Finance or Accounting educational background is an advantage
