- Develop and implement digital literacy programs tailored to the needs of women.
- Coordinate with educational institutions and technology partners to provide training.
- Access to Technology: Identify and implement initiatives to provide women with access to digital devices and the internet.
- Collaborate with community centers and government agencies to establish digital hubs.
- Online Entrepreneurship Opportunities:
- Facilitate programs that empower women to leverage digital platforms for entrepreneurship.
- Provide support for the establishment and growth of women-led online businesses.
- Cybersecurity and Safety Training: Organize workshops on online safety, cybersecurity, and responsible internet usage.
- Create awareness campaigns to educate women on potential digital threats.
- Financial Literacy Programs: Develop and implement financial literacy programs to enhance women's understanding of financial concepts.
- Collaborate with financial institutions and experts to provide training on budgeting, saving, and investment.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve women's access to formal financial services.
- Establish partnerships with banks and microfinance institutions to facilitate financial inclusion.
- Entrepreneurial Funding Support: Facilitate programs to provide funding support and grants for women-led enterprises.
- Collaborate with funding agencies and investors to create opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
- Savings and Credit Groups: Organize and support the formation of women's savings and credit groups.
- Monitor the effectiveness of these groups in promoting financial independence.
- Develop and lead the implementation of livelihood programs aligned with the Women Empowerment Portfolio's objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand livelihood goals, leveraging digital, financial, and social and behavioral change enablers.
- Conduct thorough analysis of livelihood trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in program design.
- Define and enforce livelihood program standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Lead a team responsible for program implementation, providing guidance on livelihood program strategies and execution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate livelihood programs into the overall Women Empowerment Portfolio, ensuring a holistic approach.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of livelihood programs, gather feedback, and continuously refine program strategies.
- Develop and lead the implementation of programs focused on enhancing women's agency within the Women Empowerment Portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and address the unique challenges faced by women in different contexts.
- Design and execute workshops and training sessions to build the leadership and advocacy skills of women participants.
- Establish partnerships with external organizations and experts to bring diverse perspectives and resources to women's agency programs.
- Lead the coordination of community-level initiatives to promote women's participation in decision-making processes.
- Advocate for policy changes that support and strengthen women's agency in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of women's agency programs, gathering insights for continuous improvement.
- Necessary: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related discipline.
- Desired: Development Sector
- Necessary: Minimum 12 years of social sector experience
- Desired: Experience of implementing large scale development projects
