Production Head - Aluminum radiators

Salama Radiator Factory is seeking an experienced Production Head to lead and manage all manufacturing operations related to aluminum radiators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, improving operational efficiency, and leading the production team.

Production Planning & Control

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Ensure achievement of production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Stores, and Quality departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Review production performance and identify bottlenecks affecting output.

Manufacturing Operations Management

• Oversee complete manufacturing activities including:

• Core Building
• Tube & Fin Assembly
• Header Plate Assembly
• Furnace Brazing Operations
• TIG/MIG Welding
• Fabrication and Tank Assembly
• Leak Testing & Pressure Testing
• Final Assembly and Dispatch

• Ensure adherence to approved manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
• Optimize machine utilization and production capacity.

Process Improvement & Productivity

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, and 5S initiatives.
• Reduce production cycle time and manufacturing costs.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Monitor productivity and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.

Quality Management

• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department to address non-conformities.
• Monitor rejection trends and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in root cause analysis for quality-related issues.
• Ensure all products pass required inspections and testing before dispatch.

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead and manage Production Engineers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Technicians, and Operators.
• Conduct workforce planning and manpower allocation.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and training.
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular production meetings and performance reviews.

Maintenance Coordination

• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure maximum equipment availability.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Minimize machine breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Participate in commissioning and installation of new machinery and equipment.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Promote a safe working environment and zero-accident culture.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operating practices.

Cost Control & Budget Management

• Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Control labor costs, material consumption, and overtime expenses.
• Optimize raw material utilization and reduce waste.
• Participate in annual budgeting and operational planning.

Reporting & KPI Management

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Monitor and report:

• Production Achievement
• OEE
• Machine Utilization
• Labor Productivity
• Rejection & Scrap Rates
• On-Time Delivery Performance
• Downtime Analysis

• Present operational performance reports to management.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Aluminum Radiator.
• Hands-on knowledge of aluminum brazing furnace operations, TIG/MIG welding, leak testing, and assembly processes.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
