Principal Software Engineer (FullStack Development) - Assistant Vice President

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to provide senior technical leadership across UI and backend components, with a focus on building scalable, high-quality platform solutions as part of our UI Framework team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree
• Min 15+ years of experience as a software engineer
• 10+ years’ Experience with web development technologies (JavaScript) and JavaScript UI frameworks (ReactJS)
• Strong skills in Typescript, JSX, Sass/SCSS, Styled components
• 8+ years of experience building REST APIs using NodeJS/Java stack
• Practical knowledge of web tooling such as webpack, storybook, NPM, babel, gulp and yarn
• Strong familiarity with modern web development tools and patterns e.g. Redux, React Hooks, NodeJS
• Keen eye for visual web design and passion for using modern techniques to create visually rich and interactive experience
• Passionate about building excellent software with customer focus and empathy
• Team player with a thirst to learn, sense of urgency, and ownership and thrive in fast-paced environment.
  
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience working with NoSQL Database
• Experience with ElectronJS, Finsemble or OpenFin containers
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Some experience in reactive libraries like RxJS (edited)
  
  
  

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Min 15+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of React and modern JavaScript frameworks, including the eco-systems these operate in
• Strong experience with architectural decision making.
• Experience leveraging AI tools as part of routine development and work activities
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.
• Experience in Micro-Frontend Architecture desired.
