Requirements
About the Role
As the People & Culture Manager for Hosting Raja, you will be responsible for delivering excellent day to day HR support whilst helping scale the people foundations required for a growing global organisation.
You will partner closely with local leaders and employees while working collaboratively with our global People team to ensure local compliance, operational excellence, and a consistent employee experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing operational delivery with continuous improvement and who takes pride in being the trusted local HR expert.
What You Will Do
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding.
- Manage employment contracts, employee documentation, HR letters, and employee records.
- Support probation reviews, confirmations, promotions, salary changes, transfers, and exits.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and people related matters.
- Support employee relations issues, grievances, investigations, and disciplinary processes where required.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all employee data is accurately maintained within the HRIS.
- Manage attendance, leave administration, and employee records.
- Coordinate monthly payroll activities, including attendance validation, leave reconciliation, payroll inputs, and final settlements.
- Partner with Finance and payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate activities relating to PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishments, and other local employment obligations.
- Act as the local point of contact for labour authorities, legal advisors, and compliance partners where required.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- In partnership with the Global TA function, coordinate recruitment activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, offer management, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to deliver a positive candidate experience.
- Ensure all new hires are effectively onboarded and integrated into the business.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive local employee engagement activities and initiatives.
- Support the implementation of company values, culture programmes, and leadership initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and workplace culture.
- Build strong relationships with employees and managers across the business.
Global People Programmes
- Support the rollout and local implementation of global People initiatives, including:
- Probation reviews
- Performance management
- Learning and development programmes
- Employee engagement initiatives
- HR technology and process improvements
- Job Architecture and career framework initiatives
- Organisational change and transformation programmes
- Act as the bridge between global and local teams, ensuring initiatives are successfully embedded within the India business.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
- Support the development and implementation of scalable HR practices and ways of working.
- Maintain accurate reporting and provide people insights where required.
What You'll Bring
- Fluency in English – both verbal and written communication skills
- 3–5 years of experience in a HR Generalist, HR Operations, or People & Culture role.
- Experience operating as the primary HR contact for a business unit or employee population.
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes.
- Experience managing payroll inputs and HR administration.
- Experience handling employee relations matters and employee queries.
- Strong understanding of Indian employment legislation and statutory requirements.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms such as Deel or similar systems.
- Experience working with managers and employees across multiple functions.
