The essence of the role
We are seeking an experienced Outreach and Gong Administrator to manage and optimise our sales engagement and revenue intelligence platforms, including their integrations with Salesforce and the wider sales technology ecosystem.
This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and technical development of Outreach, including reporting, sequence management, triggers, automations, flows, and Salesforce integrations. The successful candidate will also act as a Gong Administrator, building dashboards, reports, trackers, scorecards, and ROI reporting, while supporting the adoption of Gong's AI capabilities.
The role will lead sales technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Revenue Operations. The successful candidate will also support Gainsight, DocuSign, and Chili Piper.
The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience working with sales technology platforms, strong Salesforce integration expertise, and the ability to lead technical projects while supporting operational system requests through Jira.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach Platform Administration
Administer, maintain, and optimise the Outreach platform, including:
- User setup, roles, permissions, and access management
- Sequence creation, configuration, testing, and ongoing optimisation
- Triggers, rules, automations, flows, and task management
- Dashboards, reporting, and performance analysis
- Activity, engagement, conversion, and productivity reporting
- Governance, security, data quality, and platform compliance
- System updates, enhancements, and configuration improvements
Partner with sales and operational teams to design scalable Outreach processes that improve seller productivity, engagement, and pipeline generation.
Track platform adoption, sequence performance, conversion rates, and return on investment, producing clear reporting and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Gong Platform Administration
Act as a hands-on Gong Administrator responsible for the configuration, optimisation, and ongoing management of the platform.
Responsibilities will include:
- Creating and maintaining Gong dashboards and reports
- Developing reporting to track platform adoption, usage, coaching activity, pipeline impact, and ROI
- Creating and managing scorecards for managers, teams, and business functions
- Configuring trackers, keywords, topics, and conversation intelligence reporting
- Supporting Gong Forecast, Engage, or additional Gong capabilities where applicable
- Managing user access, permissions, team structures, and hierarchy changes
- Supporting integrations between Gong, Salesforce, and other sales platforms
- Using Gong's AI capabilities to identify themes, risks, coaching opportunities, customer insights, and performance trends
- Supporting managers and users with the adoption of AI-generated insights and platform functionality
- Monitoring data quality, call recording coverage, and platform performance
- Producing executive-level and operational reporting from Gong data
The successful candidate should be comfortable translating business questions into meaningful Gong dashboards, reports, scorecards, and AI-supported insights.
Salesforce Integration Management
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Outreach and Gong integrations with Salesforce.
Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and developers to ensure seamless data flow, accurate field mapping, and effective process automation.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify integration, synchronisation, and data quality issues.
Support the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce-connected workflows across the sales technology ecosystem.
Sales Technology Ecosystem Support
Support the administration, optimisation, and integration of other sales and marketing platforms, including:
- DocuSign
- Gainsight
- Chili Piper
Ensure data consistency and smooth cross-platform workflows.
Support user access, platform configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, and enhancement requests across the wider technology stack.
Project Leadership
Lead sales technology initiatives including:
- Platform enhancements
- New integrations
- Process automation
- System optimisation projects
- Reporting and analytics improvements
- Platform migrations and implementation projects
Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Manage project timelines, risks, vendors, testing, documentation, and delivery milestones.
Coordinate user acceptance testing, implementation, release activity, and post-launch support.
Operational Support
Manage incoming system requests, incidents, and enhancement requests through Jira.
Troubleshoot platform, reporting, automation, data, and integration issues.
Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, process maps, configuration records, and user guides.
Provide technical guidance and platform support to users, managers, and operational stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with:
- Sales
- Marketing
- Customer Success
- Legal
- Revenue Operations
- Salesforce and technology teams
Work with external vendors and implementation partners as needed.
Translate stakeholder requirements into practical technical solutions while balancing business priorities, governance, scalability, and platform best practice.
Who are you?
- 3-5 years of experience administering Outreach or a comparable sales engagement platform
- Hands-on experience administering Gong
- Strong experience creating Gong dashboards, reports, trackers, and scorecards
- Experience using Gong's AI capabilities to support coaching, customer insight, performance analysis, and revenue intelligence
- Experience developing reporting that demonstrates platform adoption, business impact, and ROI
- Strong technical experience configuring Outreach sequences, triggers, automations, rules, and flows
- Experience building Outreach dashboards and operational performance reporting
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with third-party systems
- Experience administering Chili Piper, DocuSign, and Gainsight
- Experience managing technical work through Jira
- Experience leading or delivering system implementation, automation, or integration projects
- Strong troubleshooting and systems-thinking skills
