The Opportunity

Royal York Property Management is hiring Outbound Sales Consultants to speak with residential property owners about its rental-guarantee program.

The program costs C$100 per month. If a covered tenant does not pay rent, the program is designed to provide the owner with an amount equal to the property’s monthly rent, subject to the program’s terms, approval requirements, and claim conditions.

The program must be active before a covered tenant default occurs.

You will contact company-provided property-owner leads through an automatic dialer, determine whether they meet the campaign requirements, respond to questions and objections, and connect qualified owners with a Royal York sales representative.

You will not complete the final sale or determine approval. Your responsibility is to create interest, qualify the opportunity, and secure an immediate live transfer.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Make continuous outbound calls using an automatic dialer.
• Introduce Royal York and explain the purpose of the call.
• Ask questions about the owner and their rental property.
• Confirm the number of properties and whether they are occupied or vacant.
• Explain the program’s C$100 monthly cost and potential value.
• Respond to objections involving price, need, timing, trust, or tenant history.
• Help property owners understand why protection must be in place before a covered default.
• Ask qualified owners to speak with a Royal York sales representative.
• Complete warm and live transfers.
• Record accurate call notes, outcomes, and dispositions.
• Follow campaign scripts, qualification rules, and opt-out procedures.
• Meet hourly and daily calling and transfer expectations.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Three or more years of experience in outbound sales, telesales, inside sales, appointment setting, lead generation, call-centre sales, or live transfers.
• Experience working with an automatic or predictive dialer.
• Strong objection-handling and persuasive communication skills.
• Experience meeting call, transfer, appointment, conversion, or sales targets.
• Clear and professional spoken English.
• Confidence speaking with property owners throughout the workday.
• The ability to remain calm when prospects are skeptical, impatient, or upset.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to adapt during a conversation.
• Accurate CRM, call-note, and disposition habits.
• Openness to coaching, call monitoring, and performance feedback.
• Full-time availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
  
  

Property management, real estate, insurance, financial services, telecommunications, home services, or other consumer-sales experience is an asset but not required.

Experience with Convoso, Five9, NICE CXone, Genesys Cloud CX, CallTools, Readymode, or similar software is preferred.

Remote Work Requirements

You Must Have

• A computer with at least 16 GB of RAM.
• Dual monitors, including an external monitor of at least 22 inches.
• A wired USB noise-cancelling headset.
• A webcam.
• A quiet and professional workspace.
• Wired internet with at least 100 Mbps download speed.
• Backup internet and power arrangements.

Who Will Succeed

The right candidate is persuasive without being aggressive and persistent without being disrespectful.

You should be able to explain why paying C$100 per month may be valuable when a covered tenant default could affect an entire month of rental income.

You should also be able to explain why an owner cannot wait until after a tenant stops paying before considering the program.

You do not need direct property-management experience or a perfect script immediately. You must demonstrate strong communication fundamentals, resilience, and the ability to improve quickly through coaching.
