The Role: 

As a BIM Engineer at Inkers, you will develop and coordinate detailed Building Information Models from architectural and MEP design drawings for our hospitality sector clients. This role is focused specifically on hotel design projects, based in Mysore, where you will build and coordinate BIM models for new-build and renovation hotel developments — from concept design through construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop detailed architectural and/or MEP BIM models for hotel design projects using Autodesk Revit, from schematic design through construction documentation.
• Translate design intent, drawings, and specifications into accurate, coordinated 3D BIM models for hotel guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and MEP plant spaces.
• Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination (architecture, structure, MEP) using Navisworks for hotel design projects.
• Produce construction documentation, shop drawings, schedules, and detailed sheets in line with hospitality brand and design standards.
• Support design development through multiple stages (concept, schematic, design development, construction documentation) for hotel builds.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and MEP consultants to resolve design conflicts on hotel projects.
• Maintain model accuracy, LOD compliance, and adherence to project BIM execution plans.
• Maintain project schedules and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1–4 years of direct BIM Engineering / BIM Modeling experience.
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience working on hotel design projects is required — candidates must be able to speak to specific hotel projects they have modeled or designed for.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture and/or MEP) and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of architectural and/or MEP design and coordination principles.
• Proven ability to interpret design drawings, specifications, and client requirements into accurate BIM models.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy and LOD compliance in design-stage BIM models.
• Must be based in or willing to work on-site in Bangalore.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience across the full hotel design lifecycle — concept design through construction documentation — for hospitality clients or brands.
• Experience with hospitality brand standards and design guidelines.
• Experience with clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Familiarity with Scan-to-BIM or point cloud workflows.
• Knowledge of construction documentation and standards, including life-safety compliance requirements for hotel buildings.
