As a Manufacturing Engineering Leader, you will oversee and mentor the local Manufacturing Engineering team, ensuring they support existing and future product lines effectively. As a Manufacturing Engineering Leader, you will oversee and mentor the local Manufacturing Engineering team, ensuring they support existing and future product lines effectively. You will provide valuable advice and guidance to support our manufacturing activities. You will mentor a team to achieve high levels of reliability and consistency on the production line. You will play a strategic role in developing and implementing continuous improvements to our processes to ensure we create quality products.
As Manufacturing Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously, from defining scope and developing concepts to build, testing, and implementation.
- Plan and lead the installation and sequencing of machines, workstations, tools, and parts to maximize production efficiency.
- Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
- Conducting frequent interactions on manager level with Engineering, Shop Floor Leader, Project Management, Quality, HSE and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment.
- Handling complex manufacturing processes. Manufacturing department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical with minimum 12-15 years’ experience in a related field or demonstrate equivalent, professional work experience
- Demonstrate solid experience gained within a manufacturing environment
- Be able to show excellent problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills
