About The Job

We are looking for a Quality Analyst with strong hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, manual testing, UI testing, and API testing. The role involves developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring end-to-end test coverage, managing defects, and maintaining the quality and reliability of digital products and applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, software testing processes, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and software quality standards, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies and test plans to ensure the quality of digital products and applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and design test cases that align with product specifications.
• Execute manual, UI, functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.
• Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform root cause analysis of test failures and provide detailed defect reports with clear findings.
• Conduct test case reviews and continuously improve test coverage, quality, and execution efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and release readiness.
• Provide testing support during software releases and post-release activities.
• Execute testing across multiple environments, including QA, Staging, UAT, and Production.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
• Understand and support CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and branching strategies.
• Follow established design standards, coding standards, code quality checks, and review processes.
• Mentor new team members and share testing knowledge, best practices, and process improvements.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and contribute to continuous improvement across testing and quality assurance activities.
  

What We Seek In You

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Experience in manual testing, web application testing, and UI testing.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience in Cypress & Javascript
• Good understanding of functional, integration, system, and regression testing methodologies.
• Experience in test case documentation, management, reviews, and test coverage analysis.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and branching strategies.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a structured manner.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and commitment to software quality.
• Ability to work in dynamic and ambiguous environments, evaluate alternative solutions, and establish structure when required.
• Interest in digitalization, digital twins, IT/OT technologies, and automation of engineering workflows.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and automated testing practices.
• Experience in performance testing and security testing.
• Familiarity with test automation integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with digital products, industrial applications, or engineering software.
• Understanding of digital twin concepts and automation of engineering processes.
• Experience mentoring team members and participating in test strategy reviews.
• Familiarity with software design principles, coding standards, and code quality review processes.
• Experience supporting production releases, troubleshooting issues, and performing post-release validation.
