Role Summary

We are seeking a Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead end-to-end recruitment activities and deliver strategic hiring solutions that support Vanguard's workforce and business objectives. This role partners closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and business leaders to attract, engage, and hire top talent while driving a high-performing recruitment function.

The ideal candidate combines strong recruiting expertise, people leadership capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and a data-driven approach to talent acquisition. This individual will be responsible for optimizing recruitment processes, building talent pipelines, enhancing employer branding efforts, and coaching a team of recruiters to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes.

Core Responsibilities


  • Lead and oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with hiring objectives.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Drive sourcing initiatives using job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, referrals, and other talent channels.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Manage candidate screening, interviewing, assessment, selection, and offer processes.
  • Develop and refine job descriptions, interview guides, and candidate evaluation frameworks.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, labor market trends, and talent availability to improve hiring outcomes.
  • Analyze hiring data and workforce insights to recommend strategic talent acquisition solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, hiring policies, and organizational standards throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Lead employer branding initiatives that strengthen Vanguard's position as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and business stakeholders to support workforce planning and hiring forecasts.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop recruiters and talent acquisition professionals to drive performance and career growth.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and support employee development activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance recruiter efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Support recruitment-related projects, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience with at least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
  • Experience managing recruitment operations and leading end-to-end hiring processes across multiple business functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing recruiting teams.
  • Strong knowledge of workforce planning, talent acquisition best practices, and employer branding strategies.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies and building talent pipelines across various talent segments.
  • Knowledge of recruitment compliance requirements, labor laws, and hiring policies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence business leaders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and consultative skills.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment technologies, and talent acquisition analytics.
  • Ability to leverage data and market intelligence to drive hiring decisions and recruitment effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting global organizations, financial services firms, or Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
  • Experience leading diversity hiring, talent branding, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Knowledge of contemporary recruitment marketing and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Experience with talent analytics, reporting tools, and recruitment dashboard development.
  • Professional certifications related to Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or Recruiting.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and executive-level hiring initiatives.
  • Knowledge of onboarding processes and broader talent management practices.
