Job Purpose

ABCL is a diversified Core investment Company (CIC) with wide spectrum of businesses which include NBFC, Housing Finance, Life Insurance, AMC, Health Insurance, Securities & Stock Broking, Insurance Broking, ARC and online platform for personal finance. Given the diversity of businesses, structure and number of entities in the fold of ABCL, the corporate financial reporting is a complex Job. This role has a responsibility to support in ABCL Consolidated financials comprising of standalone accounts, 2 Joint Ventures, 1 Associate and 18 subsidiaries in a timely and accurate manner as per the statutory/ listing requirements, audited by the Statutory Auditors and presented to the audit committee.
Challenges: -
ABCL consolidation comprises of subsidiaries and Joint Ventures, having independent books of accounts. Timely preparation of Consolidated Accounts of the Company requires consolidation of the same while complying with various dynamic statutory and regulatory requirements which includes limited review of accounts every quarter and full year accounts annually audited.
To work with business team across subsidiaries for preparation of Competition Benchmarking and Treasury related MIS.
Key Result Areas

KRA1 1) Risk Framework To build a robust risk monitoring framework (including systems, process improvements) and conduct risk monitoring of accounts centrally, covering all loans, as well as Investments, across the Financial Services Group.
KRA2 2) Support Committee To support the Central Risk Management unit in doing credit due diligence on high value transactions, which require Investment Committee / Credit Committee approvals, as and when required to do so.
KRA3 3) Reviews To conduct detailed Portfolio reviews on all the Loan and Investment portfolios in ABFSG, in order of risk and priority levels, and provide a regular update to Central Risk Management unit / ABFS CEO on portfolio quality trends, early warning signals and likely stress accounts / scenarios.
KRA4 4) Risk Assessment To maintain an updated version of Risk Assessment Notes, for all large Corporate groups, to whom ABFSG has exposure across it's lines of business.
- To strengthen the Risk Monitoring and Portfolio Risk Review areas, across ABFSG.
- To work closely with the underlying business units across ABFSG, as well as with the Central Risk Management unit at ABFSG, to build seamless information flow and ensure detection of early warning signals.
- To oversee Credit policy implementation and monitor post disbursement breaches across ABFSG exposures
- To support Central Risk Management unit, in their Credit Risk assessment work at underwriting stage, as well, where required to do so.
