Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise granulation processes (wet granulation, dry granulation, high-shear mixing, fluid bed processing).
• Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.
• Monitor batch manufacturing activities in compliance with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR)
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, WHO, USFDA, MHRA, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Review and approve SOPs related to granulation operations.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for in-process checks and batch release requirements.
• Handle deviations, CAPA, change control, and audit observations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce wastage, and improve cycle time.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective measures.
• Introduce new technologies and best practices to improve granulation efficiency.
• Lead, train, and mentor granulation operators, supervisors, and technical staff.
• Ensure proper manpower planning and shift management.
• Promote a culture of safety, discipline, and continuous learning.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of granulation equipment such as:
• Rapid Mixer Granulator (RMG)
• Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD)
• Multi Mill / Co-mill
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance with the engineering team.
• Ensure equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, logbooks, and reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Ensure strict data integrity (ALCOA principles).
• Ensure adherence to EHS guidelines and safe working practices.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety training, and incident investigations.
• Maintain a cleanroom environment as per pharmaceutical standards .
