We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to drive end-to-end delivery and guide a technical team building cloud-hosted applications. You will lead design and implementation of enhancements for client-facing solutions across Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL while keeping delivery aligned with a fast release rhythm. Responsibilities

  • Drive the design, development, and delivery of enhancements for client-facing applications
  • Maintain a high release cadence (20+ releases/month) by operating the GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline
  • Contribute across the full stack, including Spring, Java, and PostgreSQL
  • Apply the minor-enhancement boundary (approximately 5 working days / 40 hours) to scope incoming requests
  • Coordinate with the Enhancement Architect to align designs and surface technical risk
  • Provide technical direction to Engineers supporting the application portfolio
  • Own end-to-end delivery of software solutions while mentoring and guiding the technical team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field
  • Proven experience of 10+ years in software development, testing, and implementation
  • Relevant leadership exposure of at least 1 year in a technical delivery setting
  • High proficiency in Java and SQL
  • Deep expertise with Spring Boot and deploying microservices
  • Strong background with GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices that enable a high release cadence (20+ releases/month)
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Redis and RabbitMQ
  • Experience with deploying dockerized microservices
  • Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud environments
