EDUCATION: Preferred undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems or related field and/or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE: A Minimum of 8 years related experience developing software in a business production environment
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE and/or ABILITIES Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack Developer with a minimum of 8 years of demonstrable professional experience in both front-end UI technologies and back-end Java development Successful candidates will likely have at least 8-10 years of experience in a professional capacity with the following technologies:

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and/or provide software solutions to the business in accordance with established specifications, and considerate of IT priorities, follow a process similar to the following;
- Participate in requirements gathering
- Analyse technical requirements and help determine feasibility
- Work with Architects, Business Analysts, Project managers, Stakeholders, and other team members to design and recommend solutions
- Follow work instructions, procedures and established standards in coding and delivering the identified solution on time and on budget
- Document and test the delivered solution, and assist with end user training as required
- Maintain the delivered solution per business requirements
- Enhance existing systems by analysing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
- Provide hardware and/or software assistance to the operations as needed
- Be available outside of normal working hours when required to troubleshoot and update mission critical applications
- Create technical specifications and test plans
- Create new and extend existing operational documentation
- Consult closely with managers, architects and business management related to projects, milestones & tasks
- Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems
- Mentor and guide junior developers in the team by supporting them with technical assistance during the development lifecycle.
- Investigate production queries from business users and provide timely solution.
RELATIONSHIPS/CONTACTS
- Reports directly to the Technical Manager, Application Development.
- Works with employees at all levels of the organization.
- This position does not have any direct reports.

- Person must have leadership ability, excellent interpersonal skills, consulting skills and the proven ability to develop relationships and influence all levels within the organization and external to the organization with developers, and business users.
- Demonstrated presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
