Lead Revenue Management & Pricing

Lead Service Delivery Engineers are members of a techno-functional team specialized in Leading, implementing and delivering Airline Commercial Products in Pricing, Revenue Management and other optimization solutions for various customers. They will also be the Subject Matter Expert on these solutions, and will be involved in training airline analysts on the tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution implementation engagements as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing activities from Business Process Workshops (BPWs) through successful transition to customer care.
• Develop deep functional and business process expertise in the application to deliver user training, drive solution adoption, and support operational alignment within customer organizations.
• Facilitate customer workshops and onsite engagements, gathering business requirements, analyzing operational processes, and recommending solution configurations that meet customer needs.
• Ensures delivery objectives and client expectations are met in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with project managers, account managers, implementation and development resources to meet customer expectations regarding solution implementation, issue resolution during solution adoption phase, and also resolution of maintenance issues / service requests post production cutover.
• Frequently interacts with subordinate and functional peer groups. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
• Lead the data gathering process prior to solution implementation phase.
• Perform data analytics to derive business insights, understand data models, and identify automation opportunities.
• Will perform data validation checks in the context of product solutions at all stages of implementation and delivery.
• Identify best practices adopted by customers and communicate them to Solution Management teams to enhance product capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, to serve as lead conduit between developers, architects, designers and with external and internal customers.
• May be responsible for managing RFP responses, scope definition and alignment, solution demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and trial engagements during new business development activities.
• Provides functional mentorship, competency-based guidance, and training to team members and new business analysts on solutions, processes, and best practices.
• Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and manage complex situations.
• Operate under general direction with minimal oversight
• Ensures that approved methods, processes, and tools are consistently used.
  
  

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 10+ years experience working in Pricing or Revenue Management areas or similar experience
• Airline domain knowledge and skills are preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience strongly preferred
• Proven analytical skills
• Exposure to data analytics and automation; interest in AI/ML is an added advantage. Good understanding of database concepts and working knowledge of R/SQL is an advantage.
• Experience of working with Fares, Pricing or Revenue management products
• Must be organized, be able to multi-task and work in all areas as needed
• Prior experience/knowledge of working on similar products or airlines is an advantage.
• Proficient English written and oral communication skills. Command of a second language is an advantage
• Identify problems and be able to determine when appropriate escalation is required
• Must be willing to travel customer onsite 30% of the time or as per business needs
