Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

About The Role
Lead – Product Development to lead end-to-end product development initiatives and drive innovation within the organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management excellence, and strong leadership capabilities to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.

About The Role
Lead – Product Development to lead end-to-end product development initiatives and drive innovation within the organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management excellence, and strong leadership capabilities to deliver high-quality products on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Head the Product Development function and drive product strategy execution
- Lead, prioritize, and create an effective working environment for teams
- Align with stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for project updates and changes
- Project Management & Execution
- Manage project schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies
- Track and measure project performance using appropriate methodologies
- Prepare dashboards for team activities and publish daily/weekly reports
- Engineering & Development Activities
- Review and consolidate DOE reports for customer submission
- Conduct benchmarking and feasibility studies for electronic devices
- Perform tolerance stack-up analysis on existing products
- Ensure technical product data alignment with BOM as per POR
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Engage with CFT teams for roadmap understanding and execution planning
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
- Align initiatives with HR, Purchasing, and Finance departments
- Operational & Process Management
- Manage ECO, ECN, PM, and ERP-related activities
- Support yield improvement and failure rate reduction initiatives
- Participate in technical audits and ensure compliance
- Team Management & Delivery
- Delegate tasks and monitor completion within timelines
- Identify risks and ensure delivery commitments are met
- Assign and optimize resources to maximize efficiency
- Support team throughout all phases of product development
- Strong leadership ability to inspire and guide teams
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- High emotional intelligence with objective decision-making ability
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
- Ability to drive change management, especially PLM (3DEXPERIENCE) adoption
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
BE / B.Tech / ME in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
