L3 – Senior Finance Analyst / Payroll Specialist ( THE GUARDIAN )

The Role:

• Financial compliance is not paperwork. It is protection.

• The Finance & Payroll Specialist owns GST compliance, payroll processing, statutory filings, financial documentation, vendor payment tracking, and labor compliance activities. This role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory adherence, and seamless payroll operations across the organization.
• The Guardian does not simply file returns. It protects the organization from compliance risk.
  

What You Will Own – Your Responsibilities :

• Payroll administration & system support — Managing end-to-end payroll activities including calculation of statutory deductions, attendance bonuses, referral bonuses and payroll adjustments, while providing payroll system support, user training, and driving process improvements across payroll operations.
• Banking and expense management — initiating monthly expenses through banking portals, maintaining transaction clarification trackers, and supporting financial reconciliations
• Audit support — Assisting internal and external audits by preparing documentation and compliance reports
• Financial documentation — preparing GST invoices, maintaining FIRC statements, organizing agreements, statutory records, and finance-related documents
• GST return filing — Preparing, validating, and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns within statutory deadlines
• TDS management — preparing TDS workings, generating challans, filing returns, and maintaining statutory documentation
• Reporting and analysis — Generating periodic compliance reports and highlighting potential risks or discrepancies

Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Taxation, or related field
Experience : Minimum 3+ years of experience in Finance, Payroll, GST, TDS, and Statutory Compliance

Technical Skills :

• Proficiency in payroll and accounting software applications
• Strong knowledge of GST compliance, payroll processing, labour laws, ESI, EPF, TDS, and other statutory regulations
• Excellent analytical, documentation, reconciliation, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in financial and compliance-related activities
